A good neighborhood bar is akin to an unofficial community center, a place where you can walk to or stop by on the way home and meet up with a friend or make a new one.
Being a bartender myself, I began to think about the loss of community we were all experiencing with everything closed, especially the neighborhood bars and taverns.
Originally, this project began as a photo history of the impact the temporary closures were having on neighborhood small businesses.
